Meet Tori Nonaka

Hello Everyone! If you're reading this, I want to thank you for taking the time to explore my new website. For those of you who know my story as an athlete, thank you for following my career. And for those who don't, welcome, and good to have you here. I am very excited to finally publish this website. I have envisioned this since I was 13 years old. I grew up in Northern Virginia. Growing up, I always played lots of sports and was always very competitive. I was introduced to practical shooting when I was 12 by my father, Aaron Nonaka. At the time, my mom Michelle, was very much against the idea of me no longer playing soccer so I could become serious about shooting. However, it was a challenging but very exciting change in my life. For most families I imagine, like mine, it could be intimidating to enter into the shooting sports. My father followed the shooting sports for six years before he ever entered a competition. And his first one was with me! My career quickly took off after that. Before I knew it, I was 15 years old and the youngest team member on Team GLOCK. It was a dream come true! I represented the company for six years. In January of 2017 I decided to not re-sign with GLOCK. I am working towards accomplishing other goals for my career. My entire family are now my biggest supporters. My mother always reminds me before I am off to a competition that the most important things to remember are to be safe and have fun. I have an older sister, Danielle that is working on her masters degree. My younger sister Brenna, and brother Shawn, are in high school. My baby brother Brendan is in elementary school. We are very close, and they all encourage me to be the best that I can be.

It is an honor for me to represent the shooting sports, and the gun industry as a whole. Thank you deeply for those who support me, and thank you to those who consider me a role model. It is a huge honor for me. When you see me on the range please come by and say hello. Even if I look very focused on the match, I want you to know that it is my pleasure to meet each and every one of you.

Take a look around the website. And, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me or my representative. Check back often for new updates to the website. There‚Äôs much more to come. Hope to see you on the range!
